Pastor Monty Harris first met Jesus at a young age at Jones Temple Church of God in Christ in Williston, Florida under the leadership of the late Superintendent Johnnie Jones Sr.  Pastor Harris later in life accepted his call into the gospel ministry after running from his calling for several years.  He was first licensed as a Minister at Nolan Missionary Baptist Church in Williston, Florida under the leadership of Rev. James Ramsey.  He was later confirmed and ordained at Transformation Bible Vision Ministries in Gainesville, Florida under the leadership of Apostle Tony Perryman.  Pastor Harris has served in the position of Minister, Youth Pastor, and Church Evangelist.  Along with serving as the Shepherd of Nolan, Pastor Monty Harris currently serves as the Union President of the Southeast Division Ministers and Deacons Union which is an auxiliary of the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Association.

 

Pastor Harris is one of the most influential orators of his generation as he has been described as old school holiness truth mixed with a new school delivery.  His method of teaching draws individuals of all ages deeper into the word of God through the use of illustrations and demonstrations that help individuals understand exactly what the living Word is saying without taking away or compromising any of the truth. Pastor Harris constantly reiterates that in order to lead you must lead by example and never lose your heart of servanthood.  Pastor Harris has traveled up and down the highways preaching, teaching, inspiring, counseling and encouraging all that he has the privilege to come into contact with at revivals, conferences and so forth.

 

Pastor Monty Harris is happily married to the beautiful and anointed psalmist Cynthia Harris.  The pair together form a dynamic and powerful duo that’s focused on kingdom business not foolishness. The happy couple have two beautiful daughters and two very active but lovable grandchildren.  Along with being a man of the cloth Pastor Harris is also a veteran of the United States Air Force and an avid Florida Gators, Miami Heat and Miami Dolphins football fan.
